As Director of Government and Public Affairs at the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham), Ravi is primarily responsible for AmCham’s advocacy efforts on behalf of its member companies with the Singapore Government and domestic media constituencies. In addition, he also oversees AmCham’s Corporate Social Responsibility portfolio, it’s relationship with other organizations and the delivery of its research and content.

 

Ravi was a member of the Singapore Foreign Service for almost a decade, handling various portfolios related to the Americas, the Middle East, international trade and finance and international organisations. He served overseas in the United Arab Emirates, where he was the Deputy Chief of Mission of the Singapore Embassy in Abu Dhabi. Prior to joining the Foreign Service, Ravi was a Presidential Administrative Fellow at the Homeland Security Policy Institute in Washington DC, where he handled the Institute’s relationship with the media, and managed its external relations.

 

Ravi earned a Bachelor of Arts from the Elliott School of International Affairs of the George Washington University in Washington DC, where he was the recipient of the GW Alumni Association Award. He also received a Masters in Security Policy Studies from the Elliott School.
