Noor graduated in 1972 from the then University of Singapore with a degree in Business Administration. Her experience spans more than 40 years in a broad range of banking and financial advisory services, specializing in investment banking, private banking and corporate finance for corporates, servicing wealthy families and high net-worth individuals. Her previous positions held, all based in Singapore with regional/global responsibilities, include being Director and Head, Business Development (South East Asia), The Citigroup Private Bank, Director, Business Development (South East Asia), GE Capital and Deputy Managing Director, Rabobank Asia Ltd.

She is currently Founder & CEO of NQ International Pte. Ltd (“NQI”) established in Singapore in October 2007, responding to calls from clients, to provide wealth advisory, talent identification and senior executive placement services. Diversity of age, ethnicity and gender are key issues actively promoted by NQI. The company specialises in Asian and Middle East markets. NQI also provides Executive Search and Talent identification at senior levels.

Noor is currently, among others, a co-founding member and President of Breast Cancer Foundation, an organization she initiated 22 years ago, board member of  The Singapore Ireland Fund, board member, ISCA Cares (Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants) and member of the Woman's Health Council.  Noor is also a member of the Disciplinary and Inquiry Committee  of the Singapore Dental Council, and a member of the Inquiry Committee of the Law Society, Singapore.

 

Noor was joint co-chairperson of BoardAgender in Singapore, an organization formed to encourage women to take on board positions, for diversity. In addition she was also an executive committee member of the British Chamber of Commerce, Singapore in its earlier years.

 

Passionate about philanthropy, and as a daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Noor is an avid musician and often helps to raise funds through music.
