Shih-Huei has led the operations and expansion of the Group since 2010. The company underwent a rebrand as Klareco Communications in 2017. Under Shih-Huei’s leadership, Klareco operates in Singapore, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Yangon and Jakarta.

 

Today, she leads a team of over 50 public relations specialists and advises a diverse range of clients that include world leaders in politics and business, companies in every industrial and commercial sector, and other important organisations and individuals.

 

She has more than 18 years’ communications experience in corporate reputation, crisis management, financial communications and media training to senior management. Her clients span a wide range of industries such as property, healthcare, financial institutions, retail and technology.

 

Shih-Huei has been advising Boards and C-suites of large organisations on their crisis communications strategies. She has been deeply involved in some of the most challenging crisis situations, covering environmental, cybersecurity, product recalls, fraud and litigation among many others. Shih-Huei’s specialism is in balancing the needs of an organisation, with the expectation of stakeholders during a crisis and ensuring that the reputation of any corporation or individual is preserved. More importantly, that the company has a clear strategy for crisis recovery in the aftermath of an incident. Shih-Huei believes strongly in working with clients on their crisis preparedness including crisis communications manuals, simulations and trainings.

 

She holds an International Master of Business Administration (IMBA) from the University of South Carolina and a Bachelor from the National University of Singapore.
